The possibilities are endless! Don't throw away that beat up end table.

Our dog Thor, when he was a puppy, got bored one day and decided to teethe on this table. The table wasn't particularly attractive in the first place, and the chunk he removed made it even less so.

For Cumberland County Open Artist Studio Tours (CCOAST) Liz and I decided to work on a small mosaic project during open studio. CCOAST is an county wide event in which participating artists open their studios to the public for a day.

Liz and I generally work on our two-dimensional paintings, but decided to add a twist last year. I little bit of effort and left over tiles from other projects turned this table into a show piece.

We can do the same for you. We do not recommend this method for outdoor furniture. In the weather, this mosaic job would not last two years, if it made it past the first season. The reason? Wood swells and contracts with changes in humidity and temperature.
