Modern Mosaics - Millville Housing Authority

millville housing authority mural

“River Dance”

"River Dance" is located in the The Glasstown Residence at River Park, New Jersey’s first “Green” affordable senior housing building, managed by the Millville Housing Authority.

This indoor mural consists of three panels, each 44 inches wide by 72 inches high. Opalescent stained glass, ceramic and glass tiles, and hand-created clay elements are highlights of this mural designed to mimic the colors and lines of nature.

"Flawless coordination with the palette and forms in their environment. Well thought out and visually organized. Although simple like the environment they add a sophistication and allow the furnishings to be more than they are." ~ Rachel Citrino, International Artist and Independent Curator

Detail of the mural. Opalescent stained glass in earth colors compliments the smaller glass tile, mirror and ceramic tile leaves set in sand colored grout. We worked closely with the interior designer and architect to develop a color scheme that complimented the overall project.

A close-up of one of the three panels. On this project we elected to apply the mural directly to the wall for stability and longevity.
