Modern Mosaics - Gloucester County Health Department

The Gloucester County Health Department in Sewel, NJ wanted permanent art in their lobby. We settled on two 5' x 5' panels on either side of the elevator.

They desired a design that was "fun", and wanted the two panels to have a similar design theme with different colors. We chose bright primaries and added bubblegum pink, with various animals embedded throughout for the panel across from the childrens health services area.

A more subdued color palette was selected for the mural on the side that performed services for adults. The figurative elements included tiles with words, natural elements such as leaves, and the sun, moon and stars.
