The Nudes by Carl B. Johnson
The female nude is a subject to which I often return. I love
the form, the lines and curves. I often tell people that I became
an artist because it is one of two professions where I can ask
girls to disrobe for me and not get slapped in the face. Since
I couldn't afford to go to medical school, this was the obvious
choice.
The following are selected nudes in chronological order.The paintings
cover roughly 15 years worth of work and depict my growth and
evolution as an artist.
